Wednesdays

Today I ran into an acquaintance on the street and in parting I said, "have a good idea." I meant to use the word "day."

This morning I woke up to a battle occurring on the left part of my lower chin. I'm losing. But as I was letting vanity get the best of me, my roommate stuck her head through the bathroom door and said "happy Martin Luther King day," and I knew that even though my 20 year old acne had won this battle, with age, I would win the war. Just like MLK.

Today was great. Holidays usually are. I proudly finished my mediocre, first film-editing project that I spent 10+ hours making. I worked a little. I spent the afternoon in Salt Lake. I talked to my Mom on the phone. And, I wrote an "I have a dream speech," thanks to my fun, creative roommates.

We had a little celebration.

Day Dreams

Today my nephew Isaac, age 11, while sitting with me in the back seat of my oldest sister's automatic-door-opening-minivan, described in detail his day. He started with, "I woke up at 6:10 and then day dreamed until 7:25." I think that is how the best days start.

Did I Mention....

....that all of these people came home? And I was one of them. And it was sad.

But then, I got to see these people. And it was very happy.

And I even video chatted with these four....On Christmas Day.

And I went to my favorite place with these skiers!

And now I'm living in a new apartment, with new roommates, working a new job, attending a new ward and starting a new major; where I'm taking classes about video editing and making things out of wood. ehhhh....?
